CARLOS PATINO DESCOVICH PUBLISHES IN MBOC

Congratulations to Carlos Patiño Descovich who published an article in Molecular Biology of the Cell titled “Cross-linkers both drive and brake cytoskeletal remodeling and furrowing in cytokinesis”. In this article, Carlos and co-authors suggest that the balance of positive and negative effects of motor and nonmotor cytoskeletal cross-linkers, revealed in this article for animal cell cytokinesis, is a general principle of actomyosin contractility.
